How to curl my hair extensions
Styling Bio Protein fibre hair extensions is slightly different from styling natural human hair, but it is still very simple to achieve beautiful curls.
Remember to adjust the temperature to a maximum of 180 degrees Celsius.
To create curls, use your styling tool to form each curl and then hold it in place using bobby pins, clips, or even your hands for at least 20 seconds. This step is important as the curls need to cool down slightly in order to properly set and maintain their shape.
Once released, the curls will hold their form beautifully for a soft, natural finish.

🧴 Washing & Conditioning
To maintain softness and movement:
• Use a sulfate-free shampoo
• Choose a moisturising or smoothing conditioner
• Avoid applying conditioner directly onto the tape bonds
• Gently pat dry with a towel — never rub
We recommend salon-quality, sulfate-free formulas suitable for delicate or treated hair.

🪮 Brushing
• Use a soft bristle or extension brush
• Brush 2–3 times daily
• Start from the ends and work upward
• Hold the weft securely when brushing near the tape area
Gentle brushing maintains fullness and prevents tangling.
🛏 Night Care
For optimal overnight protection:
• Tie hair in a loose braid or low ponytail
• Never sleep with wet hair
• Wear a satin or silk bonnet
• Or use a satin/silk pillowcase to minimise friction
Satin and silk significantly reduce dryness, frizz and tangling, helping your extensions remain smooth and long-lasting.
🔁 Tape Maintenance
Cleaning, Refreshing & Replacing the Adhesive
To maintain optimal performance and longevity of your Bio-Protein Fibre Hair tape-in wefts, follow this professional reapplication process.
✨ Step 1 – Removing the Old Tape Residue
• Carefully peel away the used adhesive tape from the weft.
• If residue remains, use a professional adhesive remover suitable for tape-in extensions.
• Apply a small amount and gently remove residue using your fingers or a soft cloth.
• Do not scrape aggressively or pull the fibres.
Ensure the weft base is completely clean before proceeding.
🧴 Step 2 – Cleansing the Weft
• Once adhesive residue is fully removed, wash the hair using a sulfate-free shampoo.
• Avoid excessive rubbing near the weft base.
• Apply conditioner only to mid-lengths and ends — not directly on the weft seam.
• Rinse thoroughly.
Gently pat dry with a towel and allow to air dry completely before re-taping.
The weft must be fully dry before applying new adhesive.
🔄 Step 3 – Applying New Tape
• Use professional-grade replacement tape designed for tape-in extensions.
• Cut the tape to match the exact width of the weft.
• Firmly press the new adhesive strip onto the clean, dry weft base.
• Apply even pressure to ensure secure adhesion.
For best results, we recommend installation by a qualified stylist.

Re-taping should only be done once the wefts are completely clean and dry.
Improper removal or reapplication may affect durability and hold.
